Identity and Beauty portrait project is an ongoing project that is based on drawing a real and authentic person from each nation and country, including minorities, from around the world. 

 

It is a documentary project  that focuses on two main areas: Identity and Beauty. 

 

The identity part is aiming to reach out and meet in person people  from around the world  to take part in the project. It is going to cover around two hundred and ten officially  recognised states. In addition  the identity part wishes to contact  minorities as well as  yet officially unrecognised  and stateless identities and nations.

 

The purpose  of the Beauty part of this project is to portray  the characteristic features of different nations and minorities and to  display them next to each other in order to present their physical varieties and appearances, caused by  dissimilar geographical and climatic reasons. 

 

This project aims to bring all identities in an exhibition; All Together Side by Side, without any discrimination, without any privilege and priority. In this project there is no first class, and there is no second class nations and identities. It is not the art of power, on the contrary, it is the power of art which is accepting and addressing all humanity. 

 

Identity and Beauty project purposes to create a universal and equal unity that is generated via power of art and is  open to and welcoming people from all identities, religious, political views, colours, races, sexes, languages, states, autonomies, minorities, nations, countries and continents, without any borders and barriers. 

 

This project intents to become an artistic platform, a shelter for all of us, and wishes to create a bridge between art and identity, between differences as a place of peace and freedom which can tour from city to city across the world.
